Using natural resources such as wood, bone and stone, Townsfolk can craft Furniture.
Whilst all furniture can be placed anywhere as decoration, some, when placed in zones, enhance rooms and provide functions, and along with real decorations can lead to happy Townsfolk. This article also includes windows and doors as they are located in this category. ==Wooden== ===Wooden Bed=== Wooden beds can be crafted on a Carpentry bench using 3 wood.
When placed inside a Personal Room, a bed enables the Townsfolk using it to sleep easier and faster. Beds can also be placed in Hospitals and they will reduce recovery time. clear ===Wooden Dormitory Bed=== Wooden beds can be crafted on a carpentry bench using 4 wood.
These beds function similarly to the regular wooden beds but townsfolk can climb to other levels using this, similarly how townsfolk can climb Vertical ladders and Scaffolds clear ===Wooden Chair=== Wooden chairs can be crafted on a carpentry bench using 2 wood.
When placed inside a Dining Room, Townsfolk will sit on them to eat food, increasing happiness. clear ===Purple Throne=== Being a much fancier chair, purple thrones are crafted carpentry bench using 1 wood and two ingots of gold.
They function similarly to wooden chairs. clear ===Wooden Table=== Wooden tables can be crafted on a carpentry bench, using 3 wood.
Like chairs, when placed inside a Dining Room, Townsfolk will sit at them while eating, further increasing happiness. clear ===Wooden Squares Table=== Wooden squares tables can also be crafted on a carpentry bench, using 3 wood.
They have an appearance like the Chess table but without any chess pieces. They function exactly the same as regular wooden tables. clear ===Caprontos the Architect's Table=== This Architect's table requires work on both a Carpentry bench and a Wood Detailer. Each one requires 4 wood to make.
This is a shoutout by SMP to Caprontos as thanks for testing and helping them find bugs on several builds of Towns. clear ===Wooden Cupboard=== A wooden cupboard also requires work on both a Carpentry bench and a Wood Detailer. Each one requires 3 wood to make.
Cupboards have properties similar to block based Walls as townies can climb these to reach higher levels. clear ==Stone== ===Stone Chair=== Stone Chair can be crafted on a Mason's Bench using 2 stone.
When placed inside a Dining Room, Townsfolk will sit on them to eat food, increasing happiness. clear ===Stone Table=== Stone Tables can be crafted on a Mason's Bench using 3 stone.
When placed inside a Dining Room, Townsfolk will sit at them while eating, further increasing happiness. clear ===Chimney=== A chimney can be crafted on a Mason's Bench using 2 stone and a torch.
They are currently the tallest craftable structure, spanning out for up to 5 levels. The fire and smoke are animated. clear ===Bull Head Decorated Fireplace=== The Bull Head Decorated Fireplace can be crafted on a Mason's Bench using 2 stone and a torch. A live Bull is also required, making it the only piece of furniture that requires a live animal.
This piece of furniture is two levels high. It is recommended that it is placed near a wall or else it would look like the bull's head is floating. clear ==Bone== ===Bone Bed=== Bone beds require 3 bones to craft, and to do so, Townsfolk will need both a carpentry bench and a Carving Bench. Bone beds function exactly the same as Wooden Beds.
clear ==Doors== Doors are items that can be placed on any flat tile and can join two similar wall pieces if placed between them.
They can be locked or unlocked by using the right click menu. Unlocked doors will not let animals through, and locked doors do not let your Townsfolk through. This can be used to make areas inaccessible. Sieges and enemies chasing animals or Townsfolk can break through locked doors. ===Log Door=== Log doors are the simplest form of any door requiring only 1 wood and no benches. This, when used with log walls make the simplest buildings without the use of any utilities. clear ===Wooden Door=== Wooden Doors can be placed anywhere, but if placed between two similar wall pieces, will join the walls and enable Townsfolk to enter and leave walled rooms.
They require 2 wood to craft, and are crafted on a carpentry bench. clear ===Bone Door=== Bone Doors are similar to Wooden Doors: they can be placed anywhere, but if placed between two similar wall pieces, will join the walls and enable Townsfolk to enter and leave walled rooms.
They require 2 bone to craft, and are crafted on a carpentry bench alongside a carving bench. clear ===Half Door=== Half Doors, as indicated by their name, are half the size of regular doors and are primarily used underground as the height of those dungeons are half a wall (complete walls are considered two levels high).
They are crafted on a carpentry bench, and require 2 wood to craft despite having a stone like appearance. clear ===Block Wooden Door=== These doors function exactly the same as the half doors but they have a wooden appearance.
They are crafted on a carpentry bench, and require 2 wood to craft. clear ===Fence Door=== Fence doors are made at a carpentry bench and they require 2 wood.
These doors, when closed, block livestock, but allow Townsfolk to pass freely. clear ==Arched Doors== These open arched entrances serve as a way in and out of buildings without the need of a real door. This means they cannot be closed or locked so hostiles can freely pass through. When they are placed between two similar wall pieces, they will join together. ===Stone Arced Door=== This stone arced door can be crafted on a Mason's Bench using 1 piece of stone. clear ===Stone Arced Door=== This stone arced door is slightly shorter than the previous one and has a darker shade of grey. They can also be crafted on a Mason's Bench using 1 piece of stone. clear ===Hedge Gate=== Hedge gates are made from two bushes and do not require any utilities.
They are great when used outdoors in gardens with hedge walls. clear ==Windows== Windows are purely cosmetic and can be placed next to walls to create Buildings. ===Glass Window=== Glass Windows are crafted on a carpentry bench, using 1 wood and 1 glass.
They have a block like nature so they can be walked making them great for creating glass floors/roofs. clear ===Wooden Window=== Wooden Windows are crafted on a carpentry bench and they also require 1 wood and 1 glass.
They are thin so they fit well with Wooden walls. clear ===Stone Window=== Stone Windows requires work on both a Mason's bench and a Carpentry bench. Each one requires 1 wood and 1 glass.
They appear similar to wooden windows and they fit well with Stone walls. clear
==References== <references/>
